Principal Sales Consultant

The Tech Solutions Sales Consulting Department covers the sales and pre-sales for Oracle Database and its Database Options.


Job Profile:

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants.

Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.

Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants.

Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations.

Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process.

Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.


Detailed Description:

India is one of the focus growth regions for APAC with a track record of more than 30% YOY for Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Ops-Center Suite of products. The position is critical in ensuring that these growth targets are met successfully.

This person shall be responsible for building and owning the India business plan and revenue target for Oracle EM & Ops-Center Suite of products.

This person shall be responsible for initiating and supporting local marketing campaigns and working with DGC and BDC in ensuring demands are being generated. This will help create awareness and leads.

This person shall be responsible to follow-up with OrD or Field Sales in converting leads into opportunities and increasing their probability and maturity in closure.

The person shall be responsible for cross LOB collaboration and up-selling into Oracle Apps and Fusion Middleware customer.

The person shall be responsible for driving respective top deals to closure and opening doors for new prospects.

The person shall be responsible for recruiting and developing specialist partners who are able to sell and implement respective set of products.

In addition to overall revenue target responsibility, the person shall also be responsible for meeting the indirect revenue target allocated to specialist partners through a true re-sell and co-sell engagement.

The person shall be responsible for creating customer references while working in collaboration with APAC reference team.

Salary:Salary would be in 70/30 split
