The main role of a Support Engineeris to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex techno-functional problems. Thekey skills put to use on a daily basis are – high level of techno-functionalskills, Oracle products knowledge, problem solving skills, and customerinteraction/service expertise. This work includes:
1. Work directly with Customers for:
a. Advising on complex use of Oracle products
b. Resolving highly complex and mission-critical issues
2. Manage highly complex and critical customer issues
a. Serve as Situation Manager on highly sensitive issues
b. Consult with Management in directing resolution of critical Customer situations
3.Knowledge gain and sharing – achieve knowledge transfer with teammates through:
a. Development and delivery of formal team training sessions
b. Formal mentoring for promoting the technical and professional development of others
c. Creation/review of Knowledge Articles.
4. Operations Management:
a. Analyze work load, determine best practices and implement changes to improve productivity
b. Proactively contribute to improve the team efficiency by sharing knowledge, providing feedback about best practices, designing tools / utilities etc.
5. Participate and drive initiatives that:
a. Improve overall product and documentation quality
b. New products/releases testing and Support Readiness
c. Beta programs
d. Customer service improvement
Experience: 4-15years
Application of candidate with B.Com & B.Sc background will not be considered.
Note: This role may need you to workon weekends and multiple shifts on rotation basis.
